Houses Healthcare Bill Calls Mentally Handicapped, Retarded

I shouldn't be surprised, coming from team Obama, but I am. Then again this is the man that called his bowling game something out of the Special Olympics.

The proposed health-insurance bill from the House of Representatives refers to mentally disabled people as "retarded" -- a term advocates, relatives and physicians find outdated and offensive.

The bill refers to: "A hospital or a nursing facility or intermediate-care facility for the mentally retarded . . ."

I thought Liberals were supposed to be all about equality. I thought the Democrats were the party that was supposed to "Level the playing field" for everyone. All they are doing is showing their true colors. They are nothing more then a bunch of clowns and need to be voted out in 2010.

And to the Dems, If you cant win by calling this Healthcare. What makes you think changing the name to Health Insurance Reform is going to do anything.

Obama Calls Police Stupid

Obama used his time on the TV the other night to call out the police officers that arrested one of this friends. The skinny on the whole thing is that the Police were called to black Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr's house because his neighbor saw someone shouldering the front door. When they got there Gates was the one doing it but he blew it out of proportion and called the police racist, because they were doing their job.

Whats awesome about this whole thing is that Cambridge Sgt. James Crowley, the cop on the scene, teaches classes about racial profilling.

So Obama was wrong, but wont admit it. Because of that it will hurt him. Police around the country are mad and damn well should be.

Crowley has every right to sue and should.
