Congress Leadership Becoming More Liberal

Looks like John Dingell has lost his long time chairmanship on the House Energy and Commerce Committee to Henry Waxman.

Waxman is a far left Liberal and a far left Environmentalist. With him winning this seat you can bet to see Environmentalist policies coming down the pipeline. This is not good news.

John Dingell was a friend of the Auto industries and would not let something that would damage them go through. Waxman could careless about the Auto industries. He would rather see tiny little cars with high gas prices forced on us, because just like the other Liberals, they think they know best.

Waxman thinks that we need to jump right into the fake Global Warming scam. By the way, did you know that in the last 5 years the planet has cooled?

Driving Waxman's bid was the issue of global warming, a pet cause of President-elect Barack Obama. Waxman is expected to more aggressively attack this problem and is expected to move legislation with tougher emissions standards than Dingell would have.

Tougher emissions standards will bankrupt manufacturing companies in all fields. It will also cause gas and electric prices to sky rocket. Companies will not pay their fees, they will drop them to us.

Get ready for high prices.

Al Franken Stealing Election

Looks like Al Franken, who liked to complain about Bush stealing the 2000 election, is doing just that himself. Its funny that in these largely Democrat districts there was problems with ONLY the Senate portion of peoples ballots.

This is election fraud!!!!

This from John Lott:

When voters woke up on Wednesday morning after the election, Senator Norm Coleman led Al Franken by what seemed like a relatively comfortable 725 votes. By Wednesday night, that lead had shrunk to 477. By Thursday night, it was down to 336. By Friday, it was 239. Late Sunday night, the difference had gone down to just 221 -- a total change over 4 days of 504 votes.

Amazingly, this all has occurred even though there hasn’t even yet been a recount. Just local election officials correcting claimed typos in how the numbers were reported. Counties will certify their results today, and their final results will be sent to the secretary of state by Friday. The actual recount won’t even start until November 19.

Correcting these typos was claimed to add 435 votes to Franken and take 69 votes from Coleman. Corrections were posted in other races, but they were only a fraction of those for the Senate. The Senate gains for Franken were 2.5 times the gain for Obama in the presidential race count, 2.9 times the total gain that Democrats got across all Minnesota congressional races, and 5 times the net loss that Democrats suffered for all state House races.

Virtually all of Franken’s new votes came from just three out of 4130 precincts, and almost half the gain (246 votes) occurred in one precinct -- Two Harbors, a small town north of Duluth along Lake Superior -- a heavily Democratic precinct where Obama received 64 percent of the vote. None of the other races had any changes in their vote totals in that precinct.

To put this change in perspective, that single precinct’s corrections accounted for a significantly larger net swing in votes between the parties than occurred for all the precincts in the entire state for the presidential, congressional, or state house races.

You can go here and see Glenn Becks take on it.

On top of this Obama has sent his henchmen to Georgia to interfere in that Senate election. I guess Democrats are now going with the "By any means necessary!!"

Mike Cox For Governor Of Michigan

Looks like Mike Cox will be running for Governor of Michigan. I like Cox, he has done a ton in the Attorney General job. After 8 years of a Democrat running Michigan, its time for Change.

Change? Where have I heard that before?

LANSING, Mich. (AP) - Michigan Attorney General Mike Cox is eyeing a run for governor in 2010.

The Republican on Thursday formed an exploratory committee, filing papers with the secretary of state's office.

Cox says in a statement that Michigan is facing tremendous challenges and needs "bold, new leadership."

He says he's seeking to restore Michigan to its "rightful place."

Cox has been attorney general since 2003 and won re-election in 2006.
He will have stiff competition to make it to the Republican ticket with people like, Dick Devos, Ted Nugent, Candice Miller and Mike Bishop supposedly looking for the job also.

Devos needs to give up and funnel money to Cox's campaign.

On the Democrats side it looks like it could be Dennis Archer or John Cherry. I would guess that Cherry would get the nod since he is currently Lt. Governor. Cherry really isn't that bad of a guy and gets a good rating with the NRA.

I still would like to see the GOP take back over Michigan.

The New Republican Party

Not that I am happy with Obama in office and the destruction that we will go through, but I thank America for finally waking the Republican party up. Besides Ted Stevens, the party has lost nothing but baggage. The party of the old grey haired white man is finally going away. The Grand Old Party is finally becoming, dare I say it, The Grand Young? Party.

The funny thing is that the old guard is fighting a little bit, but they wont succeed. Like what Wade said over at Wade's Conservative World:

After Election Day - The McCain campaign is drudging up unsubstantiated, and some refuted, lies about Sarah. They are blaming her for McCain's loss. Yes, these same peabrained clods that pulled the McCain campaign out of Michigan and turned us over to the Obama camp, these same dimwitted simpletons who wouldn't let Sarah off the leash and be Saracuda, are now backstabbing the best thing that has happened to the GOP since the '80s
I doubt that it was McCain himself, but maybe it is. He is part of the old guard and the one we were stuck with supporting.

Don't worry my fellow Republicans, we will fight back. We have the young, energetic, Governor of Louisiana Bobby Jindal. Two men who were once thought to be McCain's running mate, Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota and Governor Charlie Crist of Florida. We cant forget Former Governor of Massachusetts Mitt Romney. Then the one who is getting the attacks. The girl who is a rising star in the Republican party, Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin.

This is the New Republican party. These are the people that will lead us from the abyss and steer us back on the path that we should have never left.

The Republican party WILL head back to Reagen and will go back to the Conservative way.

This country has not changed to Center/Left like the news wants us to believe. The American people are still Center/Right and in two years, we will prove it to you.

Welcome To Liberal America

With Ohio being called for Obama, on Fox News, McCain might as well throw in the towel. I was not too happy with McCain's campaign this election. There was a lot of points that they could have hit Obama on that they didn't and the things that they did it was too late.

Palin will fade back to Alaska, but I don't think that we have seen the last of her. I wouldn't doubt if you see here in the Senate or running for President in four or eight years.

That leaves good old Barack Obama. I really cant believe he is going to win. I guess I better start since he is going to be the President next year.

With him winning and the Democrats holding the House and Senate, you better bet the you are going to see a sharp shift to the left.

Things to look out for with a Liberal Washington:

  • The Fairness Doctrine: This really has nothing to do with fairness. Conservative talk radio has dominated the air waves for years. The Liberals tried getting involved but their base just wouldn't listen to them. The Fairness Doctrine is meant to silence Conservative Talk by forcing stations to give equal air time to the other side, but like I said they don't listen.
  • The Assault Weapon Ban: Sounds like a ban on only military type weapons right? Well last time they brought this up they wanted all Semi Auto firearms added to it. Just about all hunting rifles, shotguns and handguns are Semi Auto. So basically this is just a blanket gun ban under a name to scare people.
  • Cap & Trade: This is going to bankrupt a ton of industries. Coal, Natural Gas plants, Auto Plants, anything that pollutes. This will sky rocket energy costs since the companies will be forced to drop their fees down to us.
  • Big Oil Windfall Tax: Those big bad oil companies need to lower their prices or have a huge tax added to them. Well, their not going to drop their prices and they will just absorb the tax. Just like the Cap & Trade, they will drop the tax down to us.
  • Tax Cuts?: Not likely. Obama wants to get rid of the Bush Tax cuts. This will raise taxes on everyone, not just the rich. He will raise the Capital Gains tax, hope you don't plan on selling a house, then give this money to low income people who don't pay any income taxes. Basically this is welfare, under a different name.
Really I could go on all night but these are some of the things you should expect to see in the next year.

To the Democrats: I hope you have fun in your ride. Mark my words, you will only have two years of power. The Republicans will take the House back over, so have fun.

Democrats Already Committing Voter Fraud In Pennsylvania

Republican poll workers were thrown out of the polling stations in Philly. This is illegal but problems happen there every election with the media letting it slide by. What cracks me up is that Democrats are supposed to be the party of peace and compassion, unless you are against them. Read the whole thing at Town Hall, wrote by Amanda Carpenter.

GOP Election Board members have been tossed out of polling stations in at least half a dozen polling stations in Philadelphia because of their party status.

It is the duty of election board workers to monitor and guard the integrity of the voting process.

Denying access to the minority (in this case Republican) poll watchers and inspectors is a violation of Pennsylvania state law. Those who violate the law can be punished with a misdemeanor and subjected to a fine of $1,000 and sent to prison between one month and two years.

Some of the precincts where Republicans have been removed are: the 44th Ward, 12th and 13th divisions; 6th Ward, 12th division; 32nd Ward, Division 28.

“Election board officials guard the legitimacy of the election process and the idea that Republicans are being intimidated and banned for partisan purposes does not allow for an honest and open election process,” said McCain-Palin spokesman Ben Porritt in a statement to Townhall.

Don't forget in 2004 John Kerry was ahead by 2000 before polling even started.

Update: From Red State, even more problems in Pennsylvania caused by Democrats

RS has received a tip that an unknown number of voters in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania are receiving phone calls informing them — falsely — that their voting stations have been relocated. At least 3 of the voters who received such calls determined that the information was false, and informed officials of this illegal attempt to prevent them from casting their ballots. The three specific cases that have come to our attention involve different precincts in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania — which may be the most important one in the nation for John McCain’s presidential bid.

In at least one case, the voter captured the phone number from which the call originated and later called back. The male who answered confirmed that he had placed the call. According to reversemobilephones.org, the number is assigned to a resident of Philadelphia.

This activity is a violation of the Pennsylvania Election Code, and the Lancaster County Board of Elections has been asked to investigate this activity — which may be more widespread — and refer the findings for possible prosecution.

Obama Will Bankrupt Coal Industry

Looks like Obama wants to destroy our energy industry also. Hopefully states like Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Colorado and Indiana are listening. Coal is a huge part of our energy infrastructure. This is Obama catering to his extreme Environmentalist friends.
